PhotoShelf

Terms of use

Effective 5 September 2026

These terms are short because the app is simple: it runs on your phone, keeps no account and holds none of your data. By installing or using PhotoShelf (the "app") you agree to them. The app is published by [DEVELOPER LEGAL NAME] (the "developer").

1. Licence

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, under the rules of the store you got it from. On iOS, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where these terms and Apple's EULA disagree, Apple's EULA wins for iOS users.

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app or its bundled models, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.

2. Free plan and Pro

The free plan processes your latest 30 screenshots and shows a banner ad. Pro removes the limit and the ads. Pro is sold as:

Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and may change; a change never affects a period you have already paid for. Apple Family Sharing is enabled for both products on iOS. Purchases are per app store and do not transfer between iOS and Android.

3. Purchases, billing and refunds

All payments are processed by Apple or Google. The developer never receives your payment details. Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy: request one through Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (Order history). The developer cannot issue refunds directly and cannot see your payment method.

"Restore purchases" in the app re-reads your entitlement from the store. If Pro is not restored after a reinstall, contact the store first, then [SUPPORT EMAIL].

4. Your content

Your screenshots and everything the app reads from them stay on your phone. You keep every right to them. The developer has no access to them and no licence over them. What the app does with them is described in the privacy policy.

5. What the app does and does not promise

The app reads screenshots and guesses what they are and what they need. It shows its confidence and lets you correct it, but it will sometimes be wrong: it may miss a bill, misread an amount or a date, or mark something useful as junk. Check before you act, especially before paying.

Deleting screenshots from Photos is done only through the clean-up flow and only after the operating system's own confirmation. Deleted originals may be recoverable from the system's Recently Deleted for a limited time; after that they are gone. The developer is not responsible for screenshots you choose to remove.

The app hands off to other apps (payment apps, chat apps, browsers, calendar). What happens in those apps is governed by their terms, not these.

6. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including missed payments, late fees, lost data or lost screenshots, arising from your use of the app. The developer's total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Updates and availability

Updates ship only through the App Store and Google Play; the app has no remote update mechanism. The developer may add, change or remove features. If the app is withdrawn from a store, Lifetime purchases remain usable on installed devices, and the developer will publish notice on this site with at least 90 days' warning where possible.

9. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it; that removes everything it stored. The developer may end your licence if you break these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [India], and disputes are subject to the courts of [Gurugram, Haryana, India], without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.

11. Changes to these terms

Changes are published at this address with a new effective date. Continued use after the date means you accept the new terms; if you do not, delete the app and, for a subscription, cancel it.
